Whose On The Sex Offender List Other Than Sex Offenders

Now, I know that men who get caught going pee outside are put on the sex offender list, but I had no clue that if you attempted kidnapping of a minor or interference with custody of children, you go on the list as well.

Megan’s Law created the sex offender list.

The board of sex offenders is responsible for determining if a convicted sex offender meets the definition of a sexually violent predator or pose the highest risk for re-offending. These boards are on board with lawmakers plans to introduce legislation that only individuals convicted of sexually motivated crimes to register as sex offenders.

If someone interference with custody of children, they are going on the sex offender list.

Not clear on this one, but if a grandparent interferes will custody they go on the list? Not sure how this works, but if that happened it would be kidnapping. A noncustodial parent convicted of violating a court order or otherwise improperly taking their own children has been added to the list. This is a crime that carries a 15-year mandatory sex offender registration obligation. The Adam Walsh Act provides parents and legal guardians of victim children registration exemptions for three of the four offenses, but not for interference with custody of children

The kidnapping of a minor or attempted kidnapping of a minor.

Some parents or relatives will kidnap a child who is in the foster care system because it is corrupt, and children are being sold by the state for money. Yes, Human Trafficking is going on by CPS workers as well. Hearing more and more about that all the time.

Other crimes that people commit that have nothing to do with sex are added to the list.

Individuals convicted of false imprisonment or an unlawful restraint. If you are falsely imprisoned, why would a person be on this list? It would ruin their lives and they would be kept from jobs, housing, and government assistance. Why would the state need to track those noncriminals?

If you are a noncustodial parent being convicted of this law, you do have a remedy to use.

Gov. Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania signed the Stop-Gap to help those being victimized by the law. You can research this law and hopefully use it to get you off the list.

When laws are made they really need to look into the future on how these laws can be mishandled and the wrong person ending up being a victim and put in safeguards when it does the opposite of what it was meant for.

Teachers Silent About Child Suicide In Family Court Cases

A teacher messaged a divorce coach and stated, “Unless you are a teacher in _____, you would not know about the suicide by children caused by the family court.” Teachers who have children in their classroom and know of parents custody battle see the other parent obtain custody and then they hear of that child committing suicide. No one else is close to children that they could mentally track this happening. A mother's children went to a charter school when she went through a divorce. The parents did ride share with the neighbor. The neighbor eventually had to come to the mother to let her know that when it was the former spouses time to get the kids, he was not picking up her kids per the agreement everyone had. He would not get the children from school and would never notify her he was not getting the children. He would also go see the children at lunch and tell them he was going to get them after school and to not go with the rideshare mom. The school was getting ve

Mothers Leaving An Abusive Relationships Are In Shock

Mothers are leaving an abusive relationship and the abusive father are gaining custody of the children. The domestic violence manuals state that if there is a personal protection order in the case, the father is not allowed to have unsupervised visitations, let alone custody. What is truly happening is mothers are given supervised visitations and the fathers are given custody. These mothers believe the family courts will protect them and their children. Personal Protection Orders (PPO) are obtained and quickly she realizes they are a joke. Judges rarely hold the abuser accountable for violating the order. After all, it’s just a piece of paper. Imagine your abuser showing up for visitations and threatening to “beat your ass” or burn your car. You left the relationship so you and your children can be safe, but you and your children are not safe, and no one will help you. You go to court and the visitation drop off and pick up changed to the police department parking lot.

Helping Kids Through A Divorce

As a single mom of three kids, I know money can be tight and I always Do It Yourself (DIY) before purchasing. So I added links to those projects if I could find them. You can also use these ideas for yourself ad remember if you can’t take care of yourself, you can’t take care of your children. A burnout exhausted mom/dad is no fun. Aromatherapy is a great way to help relax. When my children would come home from the other parent they were wild. I had to let them sit in front of the television and watch movies until bedtime, just to get them to calm down. Now, I would have filled the entire house before they came home with lavender or vanilla . Bother of these scents are great for calming. I purchased one of those hearts that when you snap a metal tab it would heat up and turn to liquid. To get it back to a liquid state and to reuse you would boil it. My children loved when I put an oil on their back and then rubbed it with this heated object. My heart kept disappearing and I w
